Waste to Energy: Alternative Fuels

Titan is different from your local curbside recycler.  We develop solutions for unconventional waste streams that are typically not economical to recyclable.  Titan can handle hard-to-recycle materials because we work with brands, retailers, material recovery facilities, landfills, municipalities, and other stakeholders who fund the recycling process.  Our group then turns these products into beneficial use materials through our proprietary processes and create engineered alternative fuels.

Our process starts with R&D, in-house material application specialists who work across various offices and collaborate with leading recognized engineers.  The R&D team analyzes streams of selective materials to determine the best way to process them.  This includes how to break down the waste, separate it into its building blocks, and then recycle those materials for new applications.

We have developed a proprietary process that produces a 100% recycled, renewable, contaminant-free, non-hazardous, high-quality engineered alternative fuel composed of paper, cardboard, plastics, wood, textiles, rubber & other waste products typically used by power plants, paper mills, steel mills and cement kilns.

Titan’s proprietary recycling and recovery system ensures proper quality control and sizing.  Our alternative engineered fuels are clean of contaminants and can be custom blended to meet customers specific sizing needs and specification for heating values.  The material is complaint to all DEC Material Management Regulatory Revision, Solid Waste Management Regulatory Revisions Parts 360-366 & 369.
